Selling a house with lots of repairs for cash

I made the dumb decision to buy an older home that had lots of repairs.

At first I thought I would fix it up myself and then live in a fully updated home.

Well repairs and updates are expensive. It sucked hiring out work, coordinating, paying for it, and living in a construction zone. All I got was to paint and scrape the popcorn ceiling off every room. Then I remodeled the master bathroom. After that I realized that I didn’t want to live in that home anymore. I didn’t even want to remodel and flip it. I just wanted to live in a house that required no work. I wasn’t handy and had no interest. I found a place that I really liked, but I needed to get rid of my older home. I tried listing in with a real estate agent but every buyer wanted me to make a whole bunch of repairs and updates. I just had that problem! I am not doing updates for someone I don’t know. I ended up looking for a Jacksnivlle home buyer that strictly does cash deals. With doing this, you don’t need to lift a finger. There was no mention of repairs and updates. Selling a home with major repairs for cash is the best idea in my opinion. I feel I actually saved money. How much would I have gotten from a fully updated kitchen and bathroom? I don’t feel the price I would have sunk in would have fixed my situation at all. I am glad I sold for cash.
